Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in the distribution of the Eucharist to the faithful at Mass. Special training and certification is provided for this ministry by the Office of Worship of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
Extraordinary Minister Guidelines
Lectors: Lectors serve an important role proclaiming the Word of God to the parish community during the Mass. Special training and certification is provided for this ministry by the Office of Worship of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
Ministers of Hospitality: This ministry is comprised of greeters and ushers at weekend Masses and other Archdiocesan events. These individuals volunteer their time to greet parishioners, welcome the many visitors to the Cathedral, assist in gathering weekly collections, and work to keep the overall environmeent of the cathedral pleasant and orderly.
